We all had a surprise this morning. More snow!
Welcome to Bin-raiders of the lost (B)ark.
We are Beanz and Carlsberg, a dog and a cat living in The Tip with our humans. We tip a nod to our loyal contributor and friend Chips, who will live on in our memories for her spectacular adventures.
We are all superb rescue animals of Heinz variety, enjoying our 2nd chance to the full.
Beanz likes sunbathing and chasing rabbits, while Carlsberg prefers mushroom pate on toast.

Influences
Today TJam has been doing some scanning. She has been considering her doggy influences. In the 70s people did not go with Deed not Breed or anything similar. They kept kids in cages and let the dogs run free. It was safer that way. You can never trust a child. When the kids were wise and trustworthy enough, they were allowed out.
Were dogs more long suffering in those days? I don't know. Old Hans certainly got his fair share of cuddles. His least favourite game was reinacting Belle and Sebastian, when he had to pretend to rescue TJam (Sebastian) from an avalanche. If it had been real life, TJam would have frozen to death. Hans was not big on role play.
In the 80s Remus made his entrance. It took him a while to grow into his ears and this pose did influence some of my own, later work. I call it "Sand on Nose."
So it would seem, TJam's earlier influences affected her choice of dog companions, and that these dogs' work has rubbed off on us. The bin raiding and junk eating we made up for ourselves and we would be proud to pass it on to any future generations.

Technicality
It was the floor that broke the plate, and not me. I just happened to push it off the counter.
I plead not guilty on a technicality Your Honour.

Reminiscing
Today is the day that TJam allows herself a brief moment of unadulterated reminiscing. Every year she has to spell check that word...
Anyway, today, TJam is going to remember a comedy incident involving a certain female tan crossbreed as featured in the following, youthful photo of TJam and Bamgee.
One day, Jump and TJam were staying in London Town with TJam's mum, whom we shall give the Spy Name of "Brazil". Brazil was looking forward to her lunch: two pieces of mackerel on toast and a cup of tea.
When the food portion was put on the table, lunch looked a lot like this:
Jump was nowhere to be seen.
Brazil turned around to pick up her cup of tea, and when she turned back to eat her lunch, lunch looked a lot like this:
Jump was still nowhere in sight. Not a crumb on the table or floor. The only explanation was that a whole piece of makerel on toast had magically and completely disappeared.
A true professional and dog after my own heart. Ladies and gentlemen, I doff my cap to Jump the Dog.
